20th Annual Horse Progress Days

July 5-6, Arcola, Ill.


The 2013 Horse Progress Days event will once again be held on the Vernon J. Yoder Farm in Arcola, Ill., July 5-6. There will be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.

For the third year, Horse Progress Days will offer the Teamster Introduction Class. The training program begins the morning of Thursday, July 4, and continues until the event is over the afternoon of Saturday, July 6. Presenters Ferman Wengerd of Pioneer Equipment and Kim Hadwen of Belleville, Ont., will teach participants about handling, harnessing and caring for horses. The fee for the class is $500. The class will be limited to six to eight participants and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Included in the program is free admission to the event, a $30 value.
